wowee, quite the packed day! woke up early, went to ccco because sonja was leaving and because christine came back. i told sonja how cal & josh were trying to hunt her down, so we decided to be a lil' crazy (as usual) and call them up in saskatoon. it was 8:30am over there, but hey, they had to wake up for church eventually too. boy am i glad i have a calling card and unlimited weekend minutes! i was gonna go to okcc too, but then decided that i was gonna be late, so i ended up not going. hung around with adrian & chung for a bit, and since chung was going to adrian's, he was nice enough to drive me home. : )
i checked my email and stuff, and then someone called me from far, far away. we talked for a bit, before i started falling asleep and needed to take a nap. we were supposed to start pie day at 5, but i woke up at about 5, when john called and said he just realized what time it was. what a coincidence, so did i! we quickly went grocery shopping, and norm met us there. i got blueberries, apples, pie crusts, and TWO kinds of ice cream!! mmm....
off to patty's we went! john and normie helped me peel apples, and i sliced and tossed them in flour and stuff. in MY opinion, my pies were kinda bunky cuz they weren't sweet enough. darn, i forgot to add excess amounts of sugar. maybe norm was right and we should've got some store-bought pies (i gave him the look of death for suggesting that!). teehee, oh well, they were okay with some vanilla ice cream! i made two apple pies and one blueberry pie. patty's kitchen is very nice! his mommy keeps a great kitchen! while they were baking, i ate mass amounts of coconut cream pie ice cream, it was quite yummy. the rest of the night was so entertaining that i don't even know where the night went! i baked, the boys drank beer, we took some pictures, we broke open a camera and played with the capacitor (at one point, john shocked normie and that resulted in much *discomfort* much to our amusement). the boys played GTA3 for most of the evening, so there was much talk about blowing things up and picking up women. john and i conspired to toss normie in the pool, but at the last minute, it didn't work out. :*( i woulda had to run pretty fast before normie got outta the water tho, cuz i was wearing a white tank top. doh. normie was about to drink some really bad pineapple juice, but luckily spit it out. matty was a pretty happy camper tonight, as he unloaded some reading material from patty. as much as he could fit into a large great canadian bagel paper bag. i'm definitely very happy that patty was considerate enough to ask about it! john gave normie a whuppin' in foozeball. house rules state that if you get shut out, you gotta drop your shorts for 5 seconds. i made sure to look the other way!! : P later, norm tried to juggle some snooker balls...and tossed one up in the air...and it landed on john's head. that was an owie, i'm sure. john has a big bump on his head. :) so all in all, we had a great time at patty's house!!
in other news, normie wanted to go for jook. john, normie, and i were thinking about going out for jook, when i remembered that that would be being jookfully unfaithful to xdd. aiyaaa....this is gonna be a looong year. don't worry, we ended up not going for jook. gak, it's barely been a week, and i nearly forgot. :*(
