weekend has gone by in a flash! friday i felt sick so i didn't go to school and also didn't go to work - for the 3rd week in a row! yikes, they're prolly starting to think i have some awful disease, but really i just have a cold that doesn't completely go away! it goes away over the weekend when i can rest, but by thursday it's back again. seems to happen every year! so anyway i was home all day and then went to john's when he was done work. he was tired and fell dead asleep by 11pm, so i didn't bother to wake him up. i studied til 3am and then went to bed.

woke up saturday around noon, just in time for lunch! played with the kids (since i woke up from the screams of john's sister's kids), bummed around, then took another nap. actually, john had told some ppl we'd have dinner with them at 5. at 4:30, i said i'd take a short nap and told john to wake me up in 15 min. i ended up waking up around 6:30 to see a post-it note next to my head that said "left without you, be back soon. you get your rest." apparently 3 minutes into my *15 min nap* i was snoring at a such a hefty volume that john figured i'd be out for a while, esp since i didn't sleep too well the night before. LoL!

sunday morning i woke up and knew it was one of *those* days... my tummy hurt like mad, and i was slow like molassas. even tho i woke up with an hour to get ready for church, i knew i wouldn't make it. so i slept in, woke up at 1, and then it took me an hour just to shower. went to john's house and did nothing until we went for siu-yeh with rob at 9ish. that is all.

i am awaiting news on whether carleton's profs will go on strike. as of just past midnight (when they were supposed to announce the decision), they were still in talks. alas. my waiting is in vain. i am to bed.
