busy busy weekend. friday night was supposed to be a "chill" night...but we ended up agreeing to take john's niece juliette to the church's children's easter party. oh my, if i'd ever gone to one before, i woulda kept juliette away from that one...nothing against all the hard work of the helpers and all, but really...4 year old kids won't understand the message that you're trying to indoctrinate them with. that whole yellow/black/red/white/green bit, man, i didn't hear that until i was like, 12, and even then i didn't really understand it! heck, john's 22 and i don't think he got the whole gist of it! that and it ran pretty late... 9:30's pretty late for a 3-year old. anyway, we took juliette home, where we found john's sisters baking for a bake sale that was goin' on on saturday. so we ended up staying and helping bake some delectable *creations*...it was a laugh and a half, but you definitely had to be there. and since we didn't really get our chill-time, we decided to go chill, if even only for an hour. ended up falling asleep and just didn't bother to get up...since we'd agreed to help with the bake sale and had to get up at 8am for that anyway!! :P

so saturday started with the bake sale and then we went back to john's house, ate, and fell asleep til the sun went down. that was pretty much saturday...sunday was church, then shopped a bit (bought a new denim skirt for $22), then went rollerblading with albert & joanna. we thought a nice brisk season-opening blade would be to go to dow's lake and back. not too shabby, i guess. watched phone booth (it was a great quality burn!), john came over after work, then the 4 of us went to montana's for dinner. bert & jo went home, and john and i joined patter, matter, jodi, and aaron at aaron's house. and that was basically the night. *whew* what a busy weekend! :P
