after work, i went to aaron & winnie's bday party. good thing i called aaron before i hopped on a bus, because when he said the party was "at cheung's" i thought he meant chueng's restaurant, "house of cheung." well, glad i found out it was at cheung's HOUSE, which is all the way in (sn)or[e]leans! so i just went to aaron's house, wished auntie cecelia a happy birthday (it was hers today!), and then we walked to cheung's.

it was an interesting party. mostly school people there, and it was cool to see them cuz i haven't seen most of them since like, our religion exam, LoL! had a simple bbq, hoi ate a hotdog that fell on the floor, we chatted, etc. watched a video of i think simon's bday, and the only reason it was somewhat humourous was because half the *stars* and the *cameramen* were blazed... i'm actually glad i couldn't make that party! we had cake, and what a neat cake!! there were 3 bday ppl (i didn't really know the other girl), and i guess they celebrated their birthday together last year, too. there was a pic of them, ON the cake!! like, this bakery in orleans puts the pic on a big riceywafery thing that just gets put on top of the cake! so the entire top of the cake was the picture of them!! SOO cool!! the cake itself was kinda plain, but it was all about the novelty. and then you can imagine the type of jokes that came from which pieces of cake ppl do or don't want to eat. i think the aaron pieces were in great surplus...LoL! esp the piece that winnie...never mind.

all in all, a pretty fun night, i guess. a welcome distraction...got my mind off a few things.
