so saturday was supposed to be a nice relaxing stay-at-home kinda day. get some laundry done (yes denise, saturday!), clean my room, etc. but then boogie wanted to go out and all those plans got put aside. he came over and declared that we were going to the "james street feed factory." yeah, so basically, he'd read my blog and wanted to check out these nachos that josh and i had. i had fries because i'd already had spaghetti - i had to cook dinner for poopy because my mom's outta town. blah. so boogie and i had a very interesting discussion. i think i got him mad. actually, i'm pretty sure i got him pretty mad. sorry boogie.
after that, we met up with some more loo geeks and just chilled. ended up at the midway, of all places. the only great thing of note was that boogie's friend ed actually got his golf ball in the clown's nose at the end!! i've NEVER seen it happen before!! he got this little elephant squeegee toy that he gave me, yay! it doesn't work very well tho, doh.

today i went to church, and the korean church's youth retreat started today. so jin, caroline, and i decided to head over with them for the evening. maaan...driving thru the quebec interior is rough, especially sitting in the back of a prelude! all the way out to gracefield, where we chilled...and i saw this guy from high school, rob christie. he's a counsellor out there, so we briefly chatted. also saw matty k's sister, but didn't say hi cuz i didn't think she knew who i was. jin, caroline, and i mostly sat out by the lake and jammed, and let the kids set their tents up. we stayed for the evening message and then had a rather harrowing walk thru the woods back to the car. it was pitch black, and we couldn't really see the trail, except for the little bits that were illuminated by caroline's little red light. then we had a somewhat scary ride home, because half the way back was country highways that we needed highbeams for. and everytime we approached an oncoming car, jin was blinded and couldn't see the road. yikes!

completely off topic, son is wonderful. i read your blog (before i saw your comment) and laughed. hard. that is something that totally only you (or, i suppose me too) would have the misfortune of encoutering. crazy lady...everyone should call her up and ask for me!! see what you get! originally, when i mass-emailed my cell number, i gave everyone the wrong number. apparently some guy was getting really annoyed at all the calls for me and started yelling at ppl that that was NOT suzette's phone number. LoL... in any case, you wouldn't have reached me anyway, dearest. it seems there is no rogers coverage out in the poutine homeland. very unfortunate, but at least it was nice to chill with nature without my cell phone. : )

and such was my weekend. who are these strangers commenting on my blog?! who is allestro and ted?! do i know you?!?
