i think i bring a whole new meaning to x degrees of separation. my friend leanne moved away i forget how many years ago, and we didn't really keep in touch throughout the years. a call here and there, but nothing solid. her parents came back to visit for thanksgiving, so while we were at sonja's, i talked to leanne on her dad's cell phone, and i got her number. a few weeks later, i gave her a call, and we spent at least 2 hours catching up! hehe, so the other day she msn's me and tells me that she has a blog. so i check it out, get a link to sam's site, and from there i find out karen has a blog, and so does andrew (of "hi, i'm aaaandrew" fame - denise will get what i mean!). LoL, so i've just added all their blogs (leanne, sammo, if you step on my foot..., and hi i'm andrew respectively). i think they're all relatively new blogs, so it won't take a lot of reading to catch up! :)

i went to south keys today before kcf. i went to great canadian bagel on my way back to the o-train, and got a blt. at the o-train stop, i saw my friend aiman! so i munched on my blt while talking to him, and i woulda offered him some, but of course aiman can't have bacon. after i had polished off my blt, i had a sudden shawarma craving. that's when my genius idea hit me! shawarma with BACON! either a bacon shawarma or a chicken shawarma with bacon! i think that'd be SO yummy! now the only problem is that most shawarma joint owners probably can't and won't eat bacon. i ran my idea by someone else and was promptly told that bacon is not halal. alas. write in your comments and tell me whether that would be yummy or not! speaking of opinions, john and i came up with some other arguable issue the other night, but i can't quite remember what it is at the moment. no worries, it had nothing to do with bodily functions.
