friday morning service was...yeah. saw christine again, which was definitely nice. came home, read all day, then went to chill for a bit at the cock&lion with jo, erika, emily, patter, and john. nice to see erika and emily again too. went home and read some more. hooray for the tokugawa regime (and regime it was).
today woke up, read some more (freakin' tokugawas), joanna came over to watch frankenstein because her tv is busted and she needed it to facilitate her reading. so i tried to ignore the movie while i read more about that now dreaded family known as tokugawa. joanna also ate dinner at my house, and said my cooking was good, yay. that's the secret, get her starving, and she'll think anything's good! :) we invited john over for ice cream, and i was pleasantly surprised when he had jodi with him. was also more pleasantly surprised when my doorbell rang about 10 min later and patty & normie came over too. sat around for a bit, then normie, jodi, and patty left for the cock&lion while john stayed a bit longer. jo and i ended up going to the market to MTL to wish tommy a happy birthday (hey shorty, it's your birthday, we're gonna drink polar bear like it's your birthday....words cannot describe how much i hate that song but i put up with it just because it actually WAS your birthday). we stuck around for a lil' bit there before we went back to the cock&lion to meet up with them and then we went to denny's. aiman was being a pain - starting by knocking over a glass of water, then putting on john's glasses and repeatedly asking if he looked like john (and whether i'd go out with him). definitely home time for everyone.
saengilchukhahae boogie....i'm glad we could celebrate by doing our FAVOURITE activity and now that i think of it, i think that is the first alcoholic drink i have EVER seen you consume. i suppose this all falls under the new *confidence*? no worries, that will soon be broken!! ;) happy 23rd to one of my bestest friends....now THAT's a present and a half!! i just admitted it on the INTERNET!!
