slept really late yesterday, so i woke up pretty late too. it was such a gorgeous day today that i spent a bit of time out on the back porch fiddling with my fsa model that's due tomorrow. then i spent some time on msn desperately trying to fix my fsa. it now looks nothing like how it started, but oh well, as long as it works. many thanks to boogie who spent that few hours intermittently on the phone and constantly on msn, drawing things in paint and file transferring them back and forth. after i was satisfied that my model was good, john, joanna, and i went to pick up patty and went out for dinner. we'd decided to just pick a random restaurant that none of us had been to before, just to be adventurous. we went to café baci in the market, and abe met us there. my opinion: it wasn't that special. we had calamari, which was nothin' to write home about (i think we'd rather just get it at dim sum!). i had a pasta salad and i rather like my own pasta salads better. john had a chicken parm which was a bit small, and since he was really hungry, it was gone pretty fast. jo had some other salad with like, a whole red onion in it....the pile she had left over was quite the onion mountain! anyway, after dinner, we basically all went our separate ways and that was that.

i guess the fun of the day just came in the dinner conversation. me and abe settling once and for all that i do not dislike him, nor am i racist. on that note, patty is a trouble maker! altho it was cute that patty and abe were dressed alike, teehee!! we threatened to watch get smart without patter, and he narrowed his beady eyes (like agent 86) and i got the most deathly look i've ever seen from those disfunctional eyes!! all in all, dinner was quite fun with patty impatient to find a big ol' rock to jump off of, and glad that it's summer (so he can smoke at the table!). alas, even i have missed sitting on the patio...rule of thumb, always sit upwind from patter. that is all. back to work on the fsa.
