My Lighthouse

You are my lighthouse,
My shining light in the storm
You keep me calm when I’m in trouble
Your light keeps my heart warm.

Just when I think I can’t go any further,
I see your light from far away
You’re what keeps me going
‘cuz I know with me you’ll always stay.

It’s like you stand firm upon the rocks
And sometimes you really do
But sometimes we switch places
And I’m the lighthouse for you

So just remember that whether you’re the ship
Or the safe port in the rough sea
I’m always there for you
Just like you’re there for me.

today marks the 2-week anniversary of my stupid computer going down. i'm gonna pay a fortune for going over my allotted 10 hours of dial-up time. as jay puts it, i'm back in the *dark ages* and i have seen the light that old is sometimes better...at least less prone to crazy malfunction.
been busy days; class here, blizzards there, and on the phone non-stop (was there ever any doubt?). hustling my butt to get things done and prepared before the long weekend! making phone calls, seeing if ppl can come home for easter (no one can, it seems), dealing with the new bed and my mom's excuses and trying to blame me for not inputting thought into the matter which could've avoided the mishap (like i was even consulted in the first place?! don't get me started....).

whatever happened to the age-old rhyme...spring has sprung, the grass is riz, i wonder where the birdies is? technically, spring should've sprung by now, but mother nature doesn't seem to agree. looks like bommy and i will celebrate by throwing snowballs at each other.

rockie: scab's ALLLLLLLLLmost gone....... just a trace of it left. not bad....a week and a half to recover?!

special thanks go to bey, chris, and paula for the surprise i found in my door when i got home from work today. there was a big brown envelope wedged between my doors, and was about to soak up some water (thank goodness for the bubble insulation!). and inside was an immaculately wrapped really-heavy rectangular object. the wrapping looked laura secord-y and just screamed of *christiiiiiine!!*
: ) anyway, it was a beautiful hard cover 60th anniversary edition of the complete collection of curious george, a timeless classic. reading it made me think of some stupid antics that i pulled last week....i mean....when i was a kid. and for those of you out there that think i was ever dumb enough to swallow a wooden puzzle piece, it was paint, so there.
thanks guys, you're awesome!!

apologies for not blogging on a regular basis. no need to call to see if i'm ok, jack. for those that haven't seen me on icq or msn and miss reading daily blogs, my *super-machine* computer is down. apparently not so super after all. ptooie. back to ol' faithful, dialup and P133 with some pitiful *liberated* ram.
anyway, the past few days have had more bads than goods. aside from being on the phone with some great people a lot, things in this house have been progressing as usual. my mom bought a new queen-sized bed for the basement. it doesn't fit through the door. the new bed is now in her room (taking up 1/2 the area of her room), and her bed is now in the basement. there goes the super-deluxe mattress my sis bought her not too long ago. furniture has been rearranged, and not in a good way. i think i'll just stay in my room and tidy it up for the next few weeks. i'm gonna snap soon.
birthday plans are going well. hopefully people can come (sarah, if you're reading this, you need to be over 19 to come, sorry).
i talked to good people today. face and the waterloo geeks. i am officially mad at thomas young-keun "mr.blah" choi. he tried to pass off a second-hand nickname on me. you'd better think up of a good one... you're in big trubble. and no more food names!!!
anyway, my brain has ceased to function properly. why does my family always decide to be irritatingly non-logical around final-time? i don't understand.....they're out to get me.......
one more thing. rockie, i still have a red dot on my hand...stab-scab....darts are dangerous....
