VERY good day! work just zipped by, prolly cuz it started with a nice little birthday gathering for joelle. very yummy chocolate cake (which i picked out, thank you!). we also had good story time today (translation: someone spilled the beans about their new relationship, which was a nice break in the day!).
after work, i ran to church, where i met josh and BEAT HIM 7-3 in air hockey (and tied in foozeball, heehee). ivan showed up next, and showed off his new shox. personally, i don't like them very much (and neither does he). then, the moment we were all waiting for..... cal got to church...with TIZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!! so cal, ivan, josh, tiz, and i went to dubarry's for dinner AGAAAAIN... buffet count for the month: 4. we saw chung's parents, yay!
went to chung's house and tried to stalk him, but he had missed the bus from work, so we stalked him all around blue heron mall...but he'd caught the bus by the time we got there. so we tried to stalk some more. we parked at giant tiger, and stealthily sneaked up to his house. we tried to take pics of chung's reaction, which consisted of "I KNEW IT!!!!!!!" LoL....we chilled at chung's for a bit, then went to timmy's for ice caps and just sittin' around and chatting. andy joined us for a while at timmy's too!
a VERY fun night. monday road trip to TO has been confirmed.... the buffet count will be about 5 or 6 by the end of the month! :*( .....and the weight count will be....... nevermind.

busy busy busy... didn't sleep much (or well) last night, and had to drag my body in to work. i had such a headache that i ended up going home around two-ish, and i went straight to bed. my sister was out for a while, but then came home around 3:30, so we chatted for a bit before we both slept some more and woke up in time for dinner. didn't do much after that, just hung around the house. no usual tuesday movie night cuz bert's got finals next week. blah.
family dinner tomorrow night. not sure if i should look forward to it.

busy but good and hectic.
went to work, thinking that i'd go out for dinner tonight with normie and the boys. haven't had wings since normie left! get a call from my sis around 5 saying that she'd be home TONIGHT at 10! i was expecting her home on thursday!! auuugh!! but closer to 6, she called and said the plane was being fixed and that it wouldn't get in til 12. *phew* that buys me some time.
went home and did some mad cleaning of my room. managed to sneak out for wings with normie and the boys (i missed normie SOOO much!). after that, patty wanted to go to normie's to watch him get tanked, so we headed over for a while. some old lisgar boys showed up, and as always, it was very nice to see them. we played pong and jeopardy while matty p impressed all with his bartending skills. i had a creamsicle sorta drink which was very yummy. lost track of time, but left around midnight cuz patty and i both have to WORK tomorrow...and plus i had to finish cleaning my room! came home, tidied up some more, and sis came home soon after that. house has been bustling with activity for the past hour or so, so i can finally go and get some sleep.
she forgot to bring me the lychee jellies she bought in HK. :*( no worries chung, i found some old ones in my fridge....i'm sure they're still good! what she DID bring me, tho, was really yummy. fresh lychees from HK! special ones, too...can't get 'em here! they're the same overall size as lychees here, but the seed is itty bitty, about twice the size of a grain of rice! that means extra juicy lychee flesh! MMMM....they squirt juice at you (much like a lychee jelly) when you crack the shell.... mmm, i'd offer y'all some, but they'll all be gone by the time anyone gets over here. : )
time to sleep, y'all. life is gonna be busy for the next few days, so don't expect constant blogging! ; )

friday: after work, went for dinner with josh and chung at man's kitchen. note to all: p3s at man's isn't that good. the so-called "stinky rice" was okay, and josh's congee was ok too (until chung and i tossed in pieces of salty fish, hehe). josh was so happy with the "$3.50 for a bathtub of jook!!"

we went to church after that, and i joined the college&career group. we had a discussion on dating & relationships. i'm trying to think if i really learned anything last night. maybe we didn't bring up anything i didn't already know or had an opinion on. i don't think anything was profound enough to shake up my life. too bad. : ) anyway, i asked tom what kind of qualities attracted him to sue, because i wanted to know what kind of qualities guys look for. : ) so he answered me, then turned it back on me and asked what kind of qualities i look for. i guess i felt a little strange sharing something i consider somewhat personal...not because sharing that with those ppl is strange, but because poopy was there too. anyway, i'm not sure a lot of ppl were paying attention to me (except for tom, since he asked). i guess maybe the night didn't shake up my life because i already have a lot of preconceived ideas of what i'm looking for and what i want (which may or may not be good). right now, i'm not actively searching for anyone, since i'm still on the "singleness is a blessing" kick....haha, "i kissed dating goodbye," anyone? it's very much a *break-up book*... but i've always viewed dating very seriously. (granted, my previous choices in bf's may not have been very smart, but in terms of the relationship, i was always serious.) in any case, since then, i've been involved in so much. from MIB to starting university, leading kcf, and everything else... right now, kcf is what i do. it's more important to me than studying (oops!). i have so much to offer and so much to give, but with so little available time. a bf would take up more of my time and detract from kcf. that sucks.
but in terms of what i'm looking for... since i know that i want to spend my life serving, whoever i date (with the intention of potentially marrying him) will have to understand that. i need him to fully support me in what i do, or be there doing the same thing i'm doing.
so i guess what i want to be doing is not focusing on who's available, but rather focus on God and wait for him to ding me on the head when i meet a potential mr. right. : ) all i can tell you is...for those of you from ccco reading this: i wouldn't date any of you in a million years!! haha, NSC!!

well, i know a lot of you reading this may or may not agree with my opinions on dating, but they're just that. MY opinions. feel free to comment or email me and ask me questions or contradict me. this is one topic i like talking about. : )
