Hong Kong is lovely. I think I went to the wrong country by going to Japan!

Saturday, Curly & Chestnut took me to Sha Tin to see the HK Cultural Museum (or something like that) and it was pretty neat. They had a special exhibit showing some sorts of relics they dug up in China somewhere. They were kinda creepy, and didn't look Chinese at all. In fact, I thought they looked somewhat Aztec-y! Very strange indeed, but worth looking at! In the evening, I went out for a hoity-toity Italian dinner with Curly and some of her friends. Lovely time.

Today (Sunday) I got entirely lost, and it was pretty funny (in hindsight). I was supposed to meet Yan at Sheung Wan station, but I kinda got lost walking to the MTR station (even tho it's like a straight line from here). I ended up at MongKok KCR station, and figured perhaps it was better to take it to transfer. Of course, I took the KCR the wrong way and ended up at Kowloon Tong, which, although it's a transfer point, it would've been better if I'd gone the other way. Then I took the green line and had to transfer to the red line to take me across the harbour. Well, when I went to transfer to the red, there was a train right there, so I quickly ran onto the train before the doors closed. Of course, the train was going the wrong way and was headed towards Tseun Wan and not Central like what I wanted. SOOO...I finally got on the right red train and changed onto the blue line to Sheung Wan. For a country that is SO well organized and bilingual...I'm amazingly retarded.

Anyway, church was nice (once I'd finally gotten there). Then Yan and I went for shrimp wonton mein with soy milk. Very tasty! She then walked me to HK Park, where I walked around by myself in the blazing heat. I came home around 4, and Chestnut came home shortly after. He'd gone out to mod his Wii, hahah! He invited some friends over, so I helped him cook dinner and we played downloaded Wii games for most of the night.

Tomorrow is Monday, when I'm supposed to meet up with my old friend Henry. At night, my sister comes back to HK. Woohoo. Tuesday I think we're going over to Stanley for some more sightseeing.

Okay, that's my update. But really, HK is wonderfully bilingual and I love it. It's so foreigner friendly and even when I went to church, there were a ton of different people from all different places and it was cool. The fact that I even went to church was different from Japan!

All in all, a great few days. I *finally* got to meet Yan, so now I think I officially have met all my actual friends. No, that doesn't really make sense to me either.
