*phew* my 3-day 3-exam run is finally over.
marketing turned out to be okay, studied all day in the FREAKIN' hot library...get this. apparently the library has exceeded its *air conditioning* budget for the year, and so now they can't afford to turn on the ac until may 15! isn't that the most retarded thing?? anyway, the boys studied 240 (which sounds frickin' hard and now i'm scared to take it) while i studied marketing. the exam was ok, altho i know i would've done oodles better had i actually read the book right up until the exam as opposed to reading 5 chapters a week before and just skimming thru the other 5. oh well, i think i did well enough and with my mark going in, i'm not too worried.
after that i came home and pretty much just crashed. would've stayed up to cram for psych, but my body couldn't take staying up any longer.
woke up around 6, but stayed in bed to see if i could sleep any more (but i suppose 7 hours was plenty). it was kinda neat experiencing my first earthquake! i was lying in bed, and then things started shaking. i just thought a big truck was going by or something, but things just kept shaking....and then things started shaking a little harder...i thought about getting up to either tell my family or stand under a doorway...but both would've required that i get out of bed, so that idea got nixed. it only lasted about 20 seconds anyway (altho it feels pretty long when you're thinkin' "oh my, it's an earthquake!"). anyway, i woke up sometime after that, and studied some psych questions from the study guide. went to school, crammed some more, and figured i was ready. a 2.5 hour exam took me about 45 minutes to write, woohoo! sweeet.
so yes, most of my crazy stress should now be able to go away. i've got a cold too tho. after the wonderful weather we've been having, i thought it could be alleries, but alas. waking up with nose crusties (sorry to be so graphic) means that i'm sick. darnit. i guess i should've seen it coming. especially since i had to learn (for today) that normally, the B-cells in your body slime up all the antigens so that macrophages can munch up anything that's slimed...but when you're stressed (as i very much am), your immune system can't handle it all, so you're susceptible to getting sick. that and köttbullar is sick too, and since we are pretty much one and the same person....it figures that i get sick. blah.
in the birthday file for today: shouts out to sam "itch/pinkshirts=britney/soapynoodlewater/saturncansmokeyou/frozenflowerboxers/frozenbeanieturtle/icanonlyplaysmellycat/geen-geen/mule(muel)/something'swrongwithherface/bicpenpickpocket/iwantglasseslikezet's" mo, who is finally 20. woohoo. i could go much longer with the nicknames/inside jokes, but it's getting a little silly. : ) btw, notice half of those are MIB99 jokes...i miss those guys a lot lately. :*(
