wowee, haven't blogged in a week. it's been one heck of a busy week tho! thanksgiving weekend was jam-packed! friday, john finally had the day off, and i was feeling bleh (nauseaous bleh) so i didn't go to work. we ended up running a bunch of errands, grocery shopping, and whatever else all afternoon, then fell asleep for most of the evening. we missed the fun at cock&lion because we were asleep. alas.
saturday was more preparations for big dinners, and then norm & pat came over to john's in the evening. we'd baked apple pie and shepherd's pie, so we ate and rented a movie. we watched old school at norm's insistence.
sunday was church, which was pretty cool cuz everyone was back. we had a big fellowship lunch, then i went home and started cooking. we were supposed to have ppl over, but since leanne's parents haven't been back for a while, everyone wanted to see them! and we can't pack everyone into our house, so we went to sonja's house for dinner, as did like, half the church it seemed!! there were at least like, 8 or 9 families there - it was HUGE! we (the under-25 crowd) played some bohnanza (the bean game), and then for some SILLY reason, sam, denise, and whoever else thought they could possibly get some studying done. yeah right. it ended up being 12 ppl in sonja's room. then we were joined by the wongs & soos, because they'd had dinner together and their families thought they'd take a *leisurely* drive over!! so with like, over 15 ppl in sonja's room, i don't think much studying got done altho i know karen was trying to draw some phosphates or something. there was much back-rubbing...sam undoubtedly (and admittedly) is a terrible back-rubber. i would have to say that sunday was the highlight of the month!
monday was a wonderful day of doing nothing. so far, this week has been normal and uneventful. i wasn't feeling well this morning so i didn't go to my first class. john came over to make me feel better, and even brought me mc d's breakfast! mmm!! however, in accusing me of playing hooky, he accidentally called me a "hooker"...hmm....
