An outlet for frustration, bursts of love, and outright crazyness!

Well, another weekend spent fishing. Well, actually, Saturday was spent helping James move. Sunday we went fishing again. This time we tried to be adventurous and find this place that John fondly remembered from his youth, but had no idea of how to get there. We followed some random directions from his dad, and found a place that John thinks might've been it. It sucked. I don't think we're ever going back. We caught quite a few smallmouth bass, but sadly, they're still not in season yet. I caught a baby pike, and he was kinda cute. John caught a drumfish, otherwise known as a sheephead. They're weird-looking. It's got a big sloping forehead, that I like to describe as being neanderthal. In any case, he's tonight's dinner. :)

Something that wandered across my brain just now... On Wednesday, John picked me up after work, soon after finishing an ultimate game. So we met up with Albert and James at Dunn's for dinner. While we were waiting for Steve and Trevor, we were chatting about how it seems like it's harder to meet and get to know people now. I said that I just don't care anymore, and Albert agreed. I guess now that we're of a certain age, and we're still great friends with ppl from high school and/or university, we don't really care to meet any more people. John and I don't even see those circles of friends much as it is, since our schedules are so crazy, so whenever we do have free time, we try to call up those friends. The only activities we're involved in is ultimate, and we play with highschool friends! So we really don't have much opportunity to meet any new circles of friends, but at the same time, we don't really care either. *shrug* Oh, how I've changed.
