An outlet for frustration, bursts of love, and outright crazyness!

The other day I ran 3 loads of laundry. I also did a pile of other household chores, while getting a roast beef ready for dinner. So I tossed the laundry on the bed, and managed to fold most of it, but I left it in piles and didn't actually put it away. As I was folding, I thought to myself, "y'know...I bet if John were to do the laundry, he wouldn't know where to put my clothes."

Sure enough, later that evening, while I was in the shower, John put away his own clothes. When I came down, he confessed, "I don't know where your clothes go." I thought, "I knew it!!" So I showed him how I organize my clothes. "Socks and other things go in this drawer," I showed him, "next to the ghetto around-the-house shirts." He was a little shocked at this, because the top "ghetto" shirt was one that he'd outgrown and given me. He was a little put off thinking that his Club Monaco t-shirt was only being worn around the house. In my defence, it's not like it fits me well and looks good on me!! :P

"Next, in this drawer...this pile is for t-shirts, and this pile is for tank tops. Everything else gets hung." He laughed heartily at this. I wondered what was so funny. He thinks it's incredible that I have separate piles for tank tops and t-shirts.

Now, isn't THIS the pot calling the kettle black?? This coming from the man who organizes his closet by brand AND THEN by colour?! I used to get "tsk'ed" at for putting a Gap shirt in with the Calvin Kleins, and woe to the person who mixes the light and dark shirts.... yeesh.
