time for some updates on what's been goin' on.  so far this month, i've finished working at the office, and i've had 2 weeks of doing nothing!  starting monday, i will be working at environment canada, and i'll tell you what i'll be doing after i start (since i don't quite know what i'll be doing yet).  all i know right now is that i'll be a research assistant...for someone who had *nothing* to do with me getting said job.  :)
 
so during my break, i've had time to do things like tidy my room, make zillions of phone calls, have lunch with ppl - i even went out to the 'end of the world' (kanata) to have lunch with jon nip.  and, if anyone has seen me, most notably of all, i had my wisdom teeth pulled out.  the experience itself wasn't *too* bad...i got my face frozen and then the dentist came around with this spatula-looking tool and said, "say hello to my little friend," as he proceeded to use it to gouge out my tooth.  4 teeth, some blood, a coupla stitches, and 20 minutes later, it was all over.  when i woke up and found that the freezing had worn off, i think it hurt more than any physical pain i've ever experienced.  it hurt more than having my tonsils out, and more than flipping off my bike and landing headfirst.  it wasn't so bad the next day, as i ended up playing a few points of our ultimate game (we were really short on girls, so i had to be a trooper and take a coupla shifts).  now that it's been a week, my gums are almost back to normal...i can kinda chew again and my stitches are coming out on tuesday.  :)
 
that's pretty much it.  i have some other HUGE news, but i'mma gonna hafta save that for another time.  it's not for me to tell.  :)
