i guess i haven't blogged in a while. so last weekend was the kcf retreat...it was...shall we say, eventful. let's just leave it at that.

last week was a typical week, school and all that jazz. last monday, i saw my mom off to the airport (thank goodness she's gone!), went to school, ate, then i popped in to work to make some copies, and ended up going out with joelle to *find* a birthday present for carrie. we tried to steal a dupuis st. sign, but we were foiled in all our attempts (like, FOUR attempts!). oh well, at least we got some good pictures out of it. after that, i went to a going-away dinner...my friend toshio has gone to japan for an indefinite period of time, so that was that. aside from that, the only other news is that it was a FREAKIN' COLD week.

saturday, john's sister big organized a day of tubing at edelweiss. this one run was particularly dangerous cuz it was steep and had a turn in it, and everyone kept flying off. big & i went down together, both went flying off, and they had to close the run cuz too many ppl got hurt (namely, big and kelly who both ended up having to go get themselves checked out at the hospital! - they're ok tho). we had a fun day. we figured that the best way to go was to kick each others' tubes as we went down.
