wowzers. it's been a busy and long 2 weeks since i've really blogged. i guess the biggest thing is that i started working full time. our company is moving, so i've been doing *boy-work* for 2 weeks - packing stuff, cleaning garbage, moving tables desks and chairs, etc. it's tiring work! so i've been working 9-5 most days, with a few extra hours being put in these past few days cuz it's getting ever-so-close to moving day. i almost feel bad that i've got the day off tomorrow because i'm off to the annual kcf retreat. oh well!
i've also been a bit busier because john got a new job. woohoo! i suppose perhaps that little fiasco out in north gower (translation: middle of nowhere) with his brakes and stuff turned out to be good in the end. john and his friends had *issues* with the car and john ended up taking it to his mechanic's garage (where he used the resources and fixed his own car without the help of his classmates). once again, it is proven that it is not as much what you know, but WHO you know that gets you a job. so john got a job handed to him on a silver platter, and that's what he's been doing every day after school and on weekends. i guess we don't get to see each other as much these days, but that's prolly because we used to see each other every day for hours when we were both in school. so compared to like, up to 7 hours a day, i guess that's what makes 2 or 3 hours a day (or not at all) seem like a whole lot less.
oh yes, and john managed to fix the computer last weekend. yay! i haven't even had time to check my email every day - how sad is that? from internet junkie to just junkie. oh well, i doubt anyone will email me this weekend anyway. anyone trying to reach me, i'll be back monday. john & pat have been in NYC since wednesday, but they'll be back sunday. LoL, they went to see regis & kelly taping this morning, heehee!
in other completely unrelated news, the flower store in chinatown (by the lebanese bakery) sucks. they have pretty flowers and all that, but their delivery policies are the most ridiculous that anyone has ever heard of. and when dis(c)gruntled customers complain, they are told that they are being unfair. how crazy is that?! i recommend that no one orders from there, and especially no deliveries!!
congrats jack. you deserve it, after all these years of hard work. you know i have to post this on the internet: so you mah mastah now?!
