i am DONE like DINNER!! it feels great! so i handed in my paper yesterday afternoon, then went to bmw and then we went to john's house for dinner, watched jeopardy (of course!) and csi. we've now finished season 2, and our marathon is over...that is, until my sister sends me season 1. :)
and being so free, i'm now tinkering with my blog. i changed my font big for leanne a few months ago, but now it looks like i blog huge amounts, so i'm making it back to 10 point. phooey, like leanne can complain, she never blogs, and i bet she rarely reads mine! ;)

today i woke up nice and late, completely guilt-free! then i started the daunting task of trying to find a job. went through all the posted jobs, and sent an e-mail to some place. in a way, i kind of hope i don't get it cuz it's rather far from my house. not that that should deter me from working, just that colonnade road is a wee FAR for my liking. i took a break from job-hunting this afternoon cuz tommy had some spare time, so we went to the oak for a quickie drink (ice tea and ginger ale). there wasn't too much to catch up on, since i do talk to him every other day as it is.

my major thought of the past hour is that these days, it is almost impossible to remain invisible. especially with the friends that i have! not only am i linked to at least a dozen other blogs, but i just realized that a bunch of ppl have pictures of me up! not that that's bad, just "oh!"...i was going thru chung's posted pictures, and alluvasudden, a picture of me pops up! i didn't even realize he'd posted it. ah, one of our little jaunts out to the bubble tea place. then from there, i surfed over to k.tim's moblog, and was taking a peek through all his pictures, and whaddya know?! there's a thumbnail of me from a few weeks ago when we went to man's kitchen. and there is my ever-courageous partner-in-crime, cowering from the camera and hiding behind me. don't get me wrong, i'm not complaining, because if i had wanted privacy, i never would have started blogging. just don't go and google my name, because the "i'm feeling lucky" hit is definitely NOT me!! (googling "zet lee" however, will direct you to my blog).

i've been meaning to add steph's blog, shards of something else. i'll add it to the list under "scandalous"...that's right, scandalous! and there's nothing you can do about it short of hacking my blogger account and changing it yourself!

bits & bites:
ah, much can happen in 5 days. there are 2 less canadian teams in the running for lord stanley's cup. there are 3 less hockey coaches in ottawa. i will look back at this blog years from now and not be able to remember the events that i speak of.

another late night chained to the computer. i am now able to memorize the order of my entire mp3 playlist (a vast collection indeed) so it is now on shuffle so i can surprise myself. right now i am listening to outkast. ahh, i really do like outkast's (southernplayalisticcadillacfunky) music. most of lisgar's class of 2000 owes their liking of outkast to adrian, so props to rockie for introducing us to his atlanta pride.

just a random thought...i am lucky to have a wonderful person like john (aka stinky) in my life. he is definitely special. as far as relationships go, i think we've got somethin' pretty good goin' on here. we rarely fight, and even when we do, we sort things out as soon as they happen. when one of us is unhappy (usually me because i'm the emotional one), we compromise and try to work things out. both of us are very easy-going, which sometimes makes decision-making hard because neither of us cares one way or the other. both of us have equal strengths and weaknesses in different areas, so we always know who to consult for what. sports-wise, we're playing both softball and ultimate this summer. those that know either of us well can easily tell that we're both playing one of each other's favourite rec sports. as soon as the weather gets nicer, we're gonna hit the park and play catch with either softballs or discs. it'll be nice to spend some time away from the bustling cheng house and away from csi (SOO addictive).
as chung said earlier this afternoon, i am pretty lucky to have a guy like him....or is HE the lucky one?! AWWWW..... chung, you are hereby cut off from ALL chickflicks until you talk like a guy again. LoL!

in other news, denise, our MAJOR apologies for missing your last sunday. i slept at 3:30 and fell asleep after showering (woke up with the wettest pillow...). stinky unexpectedly had to work for his dad today and couldn't make it either. maybe we (and the hat) can try to visit you at home sometime this week? we're SOOOOOOOOOOOOO SORRY!! :(
