Goodness, I didn't think I still had that many readers out there!
Since I'm home during the days, I've taken up watching Oprah. I like her show! I leave for work after Oprah, so I only get to stick around to watch Dr.Phil on Mondays and Fridays, but I'm undecided about his show. Sometimes they're good, and sometimes the guests annoy the heck out of me! (ie. the woman who treats her *pretty* daughter like a princess and treats her *ugly* daughter with nothing but disgust, or the woman who would only let her daughter play with good-looking children because ugly people bring you down in life)
Last week, Oprah had a show where she rewarded her entire audience (all of whom selflessly helped out in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina) with "Oprah's Favourite Things" including Ugg boots, Burberry coats and purses, video iPods, Blackberrys (-ies?), and Vaio laptops. Yikes. Anyway, it made me think of a few of my favourite things, although I don't have the luxury of liking things such as those she gave away (I can't afford them in the first place!).
Some of Zet's favourite things (in no particular order):

Some of Zet's favourite things (in no particular order):
- Books. Mysteries, fiction (especially quirky books like the Eyre Affair series), books to help me in my careers such as (unfortunately) grammar books, and edumacational magazines such as National Geographic
- Anything from Google, especially Gmail!
- Food. Just about every and any kind of food!
- The Ottawa Senators.
- Cheese (most kinds - not a fan of blue cheese)...oh wait, I guess this falls under food
- The Logitech universal remote control. It can turn on everything you need to do one thing (ie turns on receiver, dvd player, and projector all with the "Watch a movie" button)
- Desperate Housewives. I didn't realize how bad I was until I accidentally missed it this week because John and I got caught up doing a StarWars marathon. I nearly cried.
- Tropical fish. I can be mesmerized by their beauty for hours on end.
That is all for now...I have to get a move on! I still have lesson planning to do and I haven't even had lunch yet! It's almost 3!
