wowee, the retreat was great! the speaker was a guy named mark cahill who played college ball in the U.S. back in the day. in fact, he used to play with charles barkley, isn't that neat? anyway, the whole weekend was kinda workshoppy, but i liked it. it was about witnessing and how to share your faith. he had a lot of interesting things to say, about heaven and hell, and how to get into conversations with people. definitely a useful tool. aside from that, i also saw a ton of ppl that i haven't seen in...oh...a year! i saw deb from waterloo on friday night but then she had to go - very sad cuz we're pretty close in a certain way. whole bunches of other ppl were great to see, but since they don't read this i don't need to mention them. :) my biggest korean lesson of the weekend is that they are weird. i learned about this thing called a *ddong jim* which is like the korean version of a wedgie, and that's putting it mildly.

tuesday it was back to work and wow, being tired from packing was nothing compared to UNpacking. the house is a mess and guess who has to organize it?! i was so sore yesterday i slept most of the evening. i was at john's house napping, then we were gonna go home but fell asleep again and didn't wake up til 2. oops, definitely home time after that!
we found out yesterday that joelle's desk didn't quite make it during the move for some reason or another. either the movers broke it or they just didn't move it. so now it turns out that joelle gets MY desk, which i don't particularly care too much about cuz i'll pretty much take any desk. what am i getting in exchange? a TABLE!! i have NO drawers to put anything in! that and there's ZERO room in the admin area for me, so i think i might be relegated to the photocopy room. we'll see.

gotta go, ultimate game!
