An outlet for frustration, bursts of love, and outright crazyness!

To clarify (this is mostly for the sake of Carolyn, Yan, and Kalun):
If the confusion was over the "shoes for the wedding," the shoes are for my sister's wedding! I'm a bridesmaid in her wedding, and she's being Bridezilla (but we're letting her). I didn't want to buy the shoes and then have her veto them when she saw them (which she did once she saw the pictures). :(

On the note of weddings, there seem to be an abundance this year. I think this signifies that I am getting old...I am now at around the age when people just start families!! Yikes! First my sister's getting married all the way out in Vancouver... then exactly one week later, John's sister is getting married here in Ottawa (yes, that means a lot of flying for both of us). I'm a bridesmaid and he's a best man in our respective sisters' weddings. Yikes. We have another wedding to go to in September (John's a groomsman in that one too!), and possibly 2 more!! Man....I feel old.

Not as old as one of my bestest friends... Happy (now belated) quarter-century, Boogie!

My exam yesterday morning went pretty well, I think I got more than my required 2/30, so I'm pretty sure I've passed that course, probably with about a B or so. Got another one tomorrow, and it will be my last undergraduate exam EVERRRRR!!! How exciting! ...Not as exciting as strong and weak forms of bilingual education for deaf students though!! *grin*

Well, it seems that I haven't posted in a long time! Things have whizzed by in a flash. Since my last post,
  • I have turned 24.
  • Classes have ended.
  • John left BMW.
  • I got some work done.
  • John and I amalgamated our cell phone needs and now share a phone. We are now with Fido and got a Sony Ericsson T610 cameraphone.
  • I nearly emptied my savings account and made a huge payment to the National Student Loan Services Centre to pay down part of my OSAP debt. Much remains.
  • I have job-hunted and come to the conclusion that perhaps I will volunteer in ESL classes for a few months, then concentrate on various wedding details and planning.
  • I walked into Globo shoes with a digital camera and took pictures of a pair of shoes so that my sister can yay or nay it for the wedding (the shoes weren't online, so I had to show her somehow!)
  • John got a new job (he started today).
  • I have managed to procrastinate from studying.

That's about it. I have one exam tomorrow and one on Friday. In both, I need less than 10% on the exam to pass the course. With odds like that, it's quite difficult to study.
