had a pretty crummy day today. woke up late, and decided that i felt kinda sick. i felt fairly congested, but i wasn't sure if it was cold or allergies again, and i didn't wanna take the chance of spreading that to everyone else in the office! so i stayed home and in bed. it felt nice. it also felt nice that LB called me around 2:30 to wake me up! talked to him for a few hours, until he had to go to sleep...oops, i guess we talked for a long time. after that, i did a few things, cooked dinner, and watched a very disappointing sens game. so yeah, didn't really do much today, and i guess my blogs are getting rather bland. oh well, i figured this would happen once i started working. : P

oh gosh, mondays are lethal. a few more days like this and i'll be dead by friday. on the bright side, my new title is now "research assistant." a bit more respectable than my self-imposed previous title of "photocopier (slave)."
GO SENS GO!! tonght was quite the night for the swedes, that's for sure! (rule of thumb: if their last name ends in "son"...) anyway, that's two games down, and two more to go before we head off to the eastern conference finals against the habs! WOO HOO!!

i'm trying to think of something good that happened today aside from the sens' win, and i can't think of much. maybe that the pork chops i cooked for dinner were perfectly done - not too rare (yuk) and not overdone (also yuk). yummy! i'm very proud of myself, because i usually accidentally overcook porkchops.
oh right, i know what else. super-duper happy birthday shout-outs to summy (here's a shout-out for all your shout-outs)!! hope you had a wonderful birthday (how could you not, being where you are?!). tanjoubi omedetou gozaimasu (was that right? something like that, i'm getting rusty)!! missing your big hugs!

what a great weekend! i did so much nothing it almost hurts! well, it's the last *free* weekend i have before i start working fulltime tomorrow, and then my weekends will be definitely used as rest from the daily grind. come to think of it, i've done so much nothing this weekend that i don't even have anything to write about. i slept in, talked on the phone, and...?
here's hoping that normie is safe in sri lanka and having a blast. we all miss you, normie (well, at least, i do).
