it's been a fairly mundane week, as usual. haven't done much besides bum around the house for most of the day and then go out in the evenings. monday was a nice relaxed day off...well, every day is a day off, but y'know what i mean! john picked me up around 3 and we couldn't decide what to do, so he suggested, "wanna go get some chocolate??" so we took a road trip (despite disgustingly expensive gas!) first to carleton place to get some super-cheap ice cream. this place gives scoops as big as a softball and it's less than $2! then we headed to the hershey factory and loaded up on goodies. since it was long weekend tho, i think they were somewhat cleaned out, as none of my favourites were on the shelves. :(
tuesday we had a softball game which we lost. after that, we met up with albert & steve who had finished ultimate practice (which we missed because of softball), and went to the greek souvlaki house. man, i really don't like that place! all quantity and no quality!
yesterday, john and i went out for pho with bmw ppl, and then john, kevin, and i went to see shrek 2. it was ABSOLUTELY hilarious and well worth every penny of admission (for 2!). this one is more geared towards adults than the first one, i think, but that suits me fine. man, i would be tempted to go see it again! i fully recommend this movie to anyone (except maybe juliette).
